Officers President & CEO - Yellow Rose Entertainment Inc./Saddle Brook Park - Drew Alexander
Drew was born in Borger, Texas and raised in Phillips, Texas. He graduated from Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1964. After being in the funeral business for thirty years, he sold his funeral homes to the Lowen Group, a publically traded funeral home consolidator in 1994. Drew is President of Hirsute Corp. DBA Hair Club for Men. He currently is the largest Hair Club for Men franchisee in the United States with stores and franchise territories in Amarillo, Lubbock, Austin, and San Antonio, Texas; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Las Vegas, Nevada; San Diego, California; and Salt Lake City, Utah. Drew is also President of Exxeat Aviation Inc., an aircraft sales company, and Servitus Management Company Inc., a real estate management company that manages his more than 350 apartment units in Amarillo, Texas. Drew has been actively racing and raising racehorses for over twelve years, being licensed and racing in New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, California, Illinois, Florida, Arizona and Kentucky. Monte was born and raised in Central Florida where he developed an extensive background in aviation, law enforcement and in music/concert productions. Having taken his first solo in a glider at age 14, he went on to receive his commercial/multi-engine/instruments certificates in 1978. He went on to manage two Fixed Based Operations at airports in Florida and Illinois. In 1980, Monte received his certificate from Florida Police Standards. Throughout his 13 years of service, he earned the rank of Detective Sergeant in a multi-jurisdictional narcotics task force and was awarded many commendations, some of which included Police Officer of the Year, Protector of the Year, and the Humanitarian Award from the Humane Society. Monte went on to earn over a decade of management experience in outdoor music festivals with Southern Sun Productions and CanDon Productions. Shows included festivals with attendance in excess of 25,000. Due to health considerations of one of his three sons, Monte moved his wife and family to Amarillo, Texas in 1999 where he became Chief Pilot of Exxeat Aviation Inc. Don Essary has served as Vice President of the company since February 2000. Essary is a business consultant primarily to the racing and wagering industries specializing in the development and implementation of business strategies. Since 1980, he has been the founder and owner of Don Essary and Associates, a consulting firm providing consulting and management services in the racing industry. Essary played a key role in the passage of pari-mutuel racing in Texas as a consultant to the late B.F. Phillips, Jr., the Texas Horse Racing Association and the Texas Quarter Horse Association. He drafted the original legislation which eventually became the Texas Racing Act. Prior to joining the founding management team of Saddle Brook Park, Essary was the co-founder, President and CEO of Bandera Downs from 1985 to 1992. He served as Director of Racing for the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) from 1968 to 1980. After leaving that post he was elected to the AQHA Board of Directors. He served three terms as the first Chairman of the AQHA Racing Council and three terms as Chairman of the AQHA Racing Committee. An active supporter of the AQHA, he currently serves on the Racing Committee and as President of the American Quarter Horse Race Track Association. In 1974, Essary along with the late Frank Vessela, Jr., owner of Los Alamitos Race Cource and Arizona Racing Commission Chairman John K. Goodman founded the Race Track Industry Program (RTIP) at the University of Arizona. In addition to producing college graduates for the racing industry, the RTIP hosts the largest gathering of racing industry leaders and executives in the world at its annual Symposium on Racing each December in Tucson. The Texas Panhandle native attended the University of Texas and West Texas A&M graduating with a degree in speech communications. He has authored four books on horse racing: Training Quarter Horses (A.S. Barnes and Co.); Horse Racing and Winning Handicapping (Huntington Publishing Co.); An Introduction to Quarter Horse Racing (American Quarter Horse Association); and The Truth About Horse Racing in Texas (Huntington Publishing Co.). Wayne is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Law, where he received his J.D. degree in 1970. He has also taught Income Tax and Business at West Texas State University and at Amarillo College. Prior to entering private practice as an attorney and financial consultant in 1987, Wayne served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Plains Machinery Company. He also served as Assistant General Counsel and Vice President-Investor Relations for Pioneer Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange listed company. For 28 years, he has been legal and tax advisor to his clients and employees in the areas of real estate, business transactions, probate and estate planning. Wayne began acting as Qualified Intermediary on an individual basis in 1995 and has been active in 1031 exchanges, both as Qualified Intermediary and Counsel since. In August 1998, he formed 1031 Services Corporation serving as its President. 1031 Services Corporation and Wayne together have acted as Qualified Intermediary in more than 100 tax free exchanges which have involved funds and property totaling more than $50 million since beginning work with 1031 exchanges. Lynn Alexander
Lynn was born and raised in Phillips, Texas. He earned a BS degree in Business from Southwestern Oklahoma University in 1968. After a brief teaching/coaching career, Lynn entered the business of selling automobiles. In 1985, he aquired his first car dealership, a Lincoln Mercury Dodge store in San Angelo, Texas. He later added three additional dealerships in San Angelo, one in Big Spring, Texas and another in Lawton, Oklahoma. Active in other business ventures, Lynn is a majority owner in 3 "B" Brush Manufacturing Company in Lubbock, Texas and is partner in several real estate and oil and gas ventures. Lynn has been actively racing and raising Thoroughbreds for over twelve years, racing in New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Lousiana, California, Illinois, Florida, Arizona, and Kentucky. Lynn is also an investor in Yellow Rose Entertainment Inc/Saddle Brook Park in Amarillo. Managing Directors Director of Food & Beverage - Drew Alexander II ![]() Drew was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Amarillo, Texas. He attended Amarillo High School and Amarillo College where he studied Business Management. Drew has owned and operated several sports bars and nightclubs. In 1999, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to take the position of Beverage Manager at the Golden Nugget Casino. Drew's extensive background in the food and beverage industry as well as his experience working in a high volume casino will be a great asset to Yellow Rose Entertainment Inc./Saddle Brook Park. |
